Philosophy: Belmun symbolizes finesse, style and determination. We pride ourselves on manufacturing leather products of high quality, utility and design. The philosophy behind the brand and its products is to bridge the gap between upscale style and affordable prices in the home / office décor products and accessories space.

Material: Most of our products are manufactured in leather, faux leather and superior quality textile. Frames are made of wood, ply, hard board, MDF or some form of rubber.

Back story: All our products are hand crafted with careful precision in the Dharavi area of Mumbai, India where artisans (Hindi translation: ‘Karigars’) from all corners of India have settled since decades to make it a thriving economic case study in itself. There is no formal school of learning for this artistry. Ideas, techniques and technology have been passed down from generations.

The idea of Belmun was born out of the need to create value added products while not being dependant on third parties for supply. When exploring product ideas, it was our endeavor to bring quality and style back to ‘Made in India’ products. Creative Design is our constant endeavor. It was a meagre starting point with our first order of only 10 Tissue Boxes, but thanks to the founder’s hard work, experience and dedication, Belmun’s product portfolio began to take shape and gain appreciation amongst a wider client base. What started out as a one man show from sourcing raw material, finding the right artisans, understanding markets and providing design input, Belmun is now a brand on the rise. The company and its partner’s passion for quality and class has led them in the direction to making quality products, with unique stylish designs.

Current scene: Having successfully catered to most high end home decor and home accent stores in Mumbai, we have expanded into other metropolitan cities of India. Currently over 30 high end retail stores in every major city in India display our articles and we have also successfully taken on export orders for customized leather goods. In addition we have executed corporate orders for the banking, pharmaceutical, hospitality and advertising sectors.
