History of Leather

Long before the industrial revolution, before civilization, before even settlements, dating back in fact to the time when man was a nomad, a hunter-gatherer, man has found a use for the hides of animals.

With time and tools, he learned to make the raw hides more durable, flexible and easy to use and thus came about the birth of leather. With time and evolution leather has come to be an extremely versatile material used for everything from clothing and footwear to office supplies and accessories.
